Staple and Coca-Cola have combined forces to create a collaborative capsule collection for the Spring 2019 season.

Combining vibrant, nostalgic Coca-Cola graphics with Staple's signature silhouettes and penchant for hidden details, the styles include classic sportswear pieces like hoodies, joggers and track suits, as well as more casual streetwear items such as tees and embellished denim.

Coca-Cola, known for its crisp, pristine aesthetic, has a unique ability to span mediums and allow multi-layered stories to be told.

Staple sought to pay homage to those traits and to its own hip-hop inspired roots by taking the consumer on a journey through some of Coca-Cola’s iconic posters and campaigns.

A collection of Coca-Cola’s ads dating back to the 1940’s have been collaged together similar to how advertisements are posted, torn down and papered over in New York City.

Instead of using the Coca-Cola word mark, Staple used Coke as the accepted ’slang’ for Coca-Cola, embodying the spirt of streetwear culture and  City Staple’s hometown of New Yorky.

From commissioning the likes of Norman Rockwell to create ad campaigns to featuring awe-inspiring athletes in their commercials, Coca-Cola has a legacy of partnering with the best in their respective fields.

Staple is honored to join this 130-year legacy.

Staple, too, believes in the spirit of collaboration - partnering with like-minded brands spanning fine art, music and more over our 21 years. This, however; marks the first collaboration with a globally respected beverage company.

“There is no denying the power of Coca-Cola! One of the first lessons I learned in design school was that John Pemberton’s bookkeeper would handwrite the famous script logo. The power of color…The power of brand...The power of people…that’s what Coke has meant to me my whole entire life.

Now that my own brand is spanning two-plus decades, it is an incredible honor to have my mark sitting side by side with one of the greatest of all mankind. Coca-Cola together with Staple. Enjoy!”- @jeffstaple

“We’re very excited to see this collaboration come to life. With Jeff Staple’s vision and Coca-Cola’s rich heritage to draw from, this collection offer Staple’s passionate fans something truly unique.” - Becky Anderson, Senior Licensing Manager, The Coca-Cola Company
